FROM THE PREFACE
I started this book in 1991, and over the next thirty-three years, I have completed, dismantled, and revised it multiple times. It has evolved bit by bit. Originally, I intended this book for my sons and daughter, so they might truly get to know their father. Notice, I didn’t say get to know me better, but get to know me.
Had I finished it back in 1991, it would have been solely about my life and career as an American of Mexican descent, a Democrat who never voted, and a former atheist searching for God. It was meant to document my life, my thoughts, and my actions. However, it has grown into something much more. Now, my children will have to piece together who I am through these words.
In 1991, at age fifty three, something happened that changed my life, hopefully for the better. Besides starting on a path to find God, I became aware of our country from a political point of view. What I had ignored all my life became central to my thoughts. It added another dimension to my life story and what followed is the story of my life with a story of America as I saw it.
You might think this book is anti-women, but it’s not. It reflects how I thought and viewed our great America as I grew from a boy to a teen, to a young adult, and finally to a man—and now, a very old man.
It also opposes anything I consider un-American in its countless forms. The parts of this book covering my life are as factual as I can recall and I might miss a date by a year or so, this way or that way. The historical parts are based on what I learned with my education. All other parts are my opinions, even if not explicitly stated as such. This book heavily relies on our right to free speech. Nothing here is said with hate or disdain.
In this book, I introduce my own acronym: CSPLD+Ui, standing for Communist, Socialist, Progressive, Liberal, Democrat, plus Useful Idiots. Throughout the book, I may use this acronym broadly, presenting history as I heard, saw, read, and felt it. Ultimately, the entire book is my opinion. You either get it, or you don’t.

I used AI, specifically ChatGPT, as a researcher for data and confirmation, much like one would use a library. However, when using AI, one must recognize its bias, shaped by its creators and programmers. If you use ChatGPT, don’t accept its responses at face value. The left-wing Marxist bias is there.
The Democrats have convinced many that we are a diverse nation, but we are not. We are a nation made up of diverse people who migrated here to become ONE. Our motto, “E Pluribus Unum,” means “from many, one.” It signifies that out of many individuals from diverse backgrounds, a single American identity is formed. It emphasizes assimilation and integration into a unified national identity, where people from various origins come together to contribute to the fabric of American society.
America haters want us to be divided by ethnicity, race, religion, sex, and anything else they can use. They are wrong, and we are paying the price for the Left’s influence in this country. We are not a diverse nation! We are one America! Their goal is to destroy America and all it stands for.
To wrap this up, I’m not an academic and I have no degree, but I live in a country where I lived a life that was when America was still a merit based society. That allowed me to succeed and have an opinion. While some academics and elites might dismiss “My American History” as an elementary discussion of complex matters, But then, I believe that “complexity” is often used by tyrants in order to control. They hate common sense.
